The Darer: J. C. Phillipps, author of Wink, grew up in Ohio taking Saturday morning classes at the Toledo Museum of Art. She studied theater and art at college and graduate school. Although she never formally studied fiction writing, she feels she learned a lot about story structure through dramatic writing and working on plays. Learn more about J.C. Phillipps.
