His latest book, Angry Management — a book of three novellas — revisits three characters from previous Chris Crutcher novels including The Sledding Hill, Whale Talk, Athletic Shorts and Staying Fat for Sarah Byrnes. Crutcher’s work as a child and family therapist and child protection advocate has helped make him a moving speaker. His humor and good nature have made him near legendary. He makes his home in Spokane, Washington — that is when he’s home, which is rare.
