In my day job, I lead groups of volunteers who perform puppet shows at elementary schools on topics that impact kids’ mental health. Some of the stories the children tell us are heartbreaking. Sadly, school can be the one of the few positive factors in many of their young lives. I want to do all I can to make sure schools like Tulakes have the resources they need to nurture and encourage the kids in their care.
