The Darer: Erin Dionne is an Assistant Professor of Liberal Arts at Montserrat College of Art in Beverly, Massachusetts, and has been teaching creative writing for the past ten years at the college level. She holds an MFA from Emerson College, has co-founded and edited three literary magazines, organized a reading series, and has published over 400 essays, articles and short stories. Her debut novel, a contemporary middle grade, MODELS DON’T EAT CHOCOLATE COOKIES (Dial Books, 2009), was a Featured Title for spring 2009 Scholastic Book Fairs and named an ALA 2010 Popular Paperback. www.erindionne.com
